Conversations About Mortality Bring Us Closer to Life

In a culture that often avoids conversations about death, dying and loss, I invite audiences into a different experience. My talks create space to acknowledge fear, grief, uncertainty, and anticipatory loss while also rediscovering the deep humanity that exists within end-of-life care.

Through guided reflection, storytelling, and practical tools for meaningful conversation, I help participants reconnect with their own inner wisdom so they can show up with greater presence for the people they serve.

My work resonates especially with professionals in elder care, hospice, assisted living, and caregiving roles who are navigating the emotional weight of supporting others through life’s final chapter.

Clarity & Connection:
Reclaiming Meaningful Conversations About End of Life

Many people approach the end of life carrying unresolved fear, regret, and silence. When conversations about mortality are delayed until someone is actively dying, the emotional burden on families and caregivers can deepen.

This interactive workshop helps participants become more comfortable engaging with mortality and initiating the conversations that matter most.

Participants explore how to:

  • identify and understand their own fears around death

  • cultivate emotional steadiness in the face of mortality

  • create space for meaningful end-of-life conversations

  • support caregivers and families with greater compassion and clarity

Through guided reflection exercises and small group discussion, participants leave not only with practical tools for starting these conversations, but with greater confidence and ease in approaching them.

What Makes My Approach Unique

My work bridges practical caregiving and the inner emotional landscape that surrounds death and dying.

Rather than focusing only on logistics or medical planning, I help participants explore the deeper human dynamics that arise around mortality: fear, avoidance, anticipatory grief, family communication, and the longing for meaningful connection.

My workshops combine:

  • reflective exercises

  • gentle guided visualization

  • journaling prompts

  • small-group dialogue

  • practical frameworks for conversation

The result is a learning experience that is both professionally useful and personally meaningful.

As an end-of-life doula, I offer:

  • conference workshops

  • keynote talks

  • professional development for elder care teams

  • community talks and facilitated discussions

My presentations are well suited for:

  • assisted living and senior communities

  • elder care conferences

  • hospice and palliative care organizations

  • caregiver support programs

  • professional development events for care providers
