Helping people meet mortality with honesty, presence and compassion.

You are carrying something most people around you cannot hold.

Facing mortality – whether our own – or a loved one – is delicate and difficult.

I know the weight and the gravity of these encounters. I’ve sat in the presence of naming the unnamable. I’ve held the hand of a loved one as he endured treatments and and grappled with the unknowns of his diagnosis, all while holding the vastness of his love for his family and navigating his own fears and losses.

I’m Alison Keller, and I’m an End-of-Life Doula.

Your resilience and loving spirit are witnessed here.

I’m not here to fix what is happening. I’m here to sit with you in it - to hold space for the truths you feel in your body but haven’t yet been able to name.

This is threshold companionship.

This is sacred accompaniment.

This is the heart of my practice as an end-of-life doula.

  • END OF LIFE DISCUSSIONS

Join us for a welcoming space for exploring mortality, loss, and the thresholds we encounter in life.
Awareness of mortality has the power to deepen our appreciation of life. Yet, many of us carry thoughts, experiences, and questions about death that we rarely share.

Explore these topics in community, free from fear or taboo. End-of-life doulas Alison Keller and Alyssa Walters invite you to join a monthly gathering for quiet reflection, open conversation, and the simple comfort of connecting over tea at Forbes Library.

  • River Valley Co-Op, Easthampton

Join Alison for an introduction to death doula care. We’ll explore what death doulas do, the kinds of emotional, practical, and presence-based support they offer, and how this non-medical care complements hospice and medical teams. The session will include real world examples of services, common questions families face, and resources for end-of-life planning and support.

This is an informational, conversation-based gathering for anyone curious about end-of-life care, planning ahead, or supporting loved ones with greater clarity and confidence. Bring your questions.
